The Facebook Project

The Facebook Project project is a comprehensive multi-stage research study on the impacts of Facebook on the University of Illinois undergraduate population. The ultimate accumulation of the project will include both quantitative and qualititive analysis and result in three publications:
- Cyborging of the Mind: Expression, construction, and sharing of identity among students on Facebook as compared to the face-to-face world.
- Race, Identity and Facebook: A look at the color-blind (racist) interfaces and environment of Facebook from a permanently beta perspective.
- Social Capital and Social Change: Network analysis and some of the social implications of Facebook.
